TWO TEENAGERS ATTENDING RIVERGREEN HIGHSCHOOL JASON SOLACE AND WILLIAM ASHFORD HAVE RECENTLY CAUSED THE NEWEST TRAGEDY ON FEBURAY 12TH, 2005
On February 12th, 2005 two high school students of the age 17 and 18 took the lives of many staff and fellow class members. 14 were murdered leaving 11 others injured. The cops showed up before they could do anything to anyone else and or themselves, leading to the arrest of both teens. Both boys were sentenced to life in prison without parole.

DESTRUCTION DAY?
"Destruction day" is a term used by the teens to video their plan before acting on it. A series of tapes found under Williams bed show their entire plan in the making under the name Destruction Day. They have all been watched by officers who were there that day. These will only be released publicly when we hear back from the station.(Public release for education is December 18th, 2006)
WHO ARE WILLIAM ASHFORD AND JASON SOLACE?
The two trouble teens express to have been bullied by their peers, for years on end and having troublesome family lives while finding light in one another, this led to the shared idea of "Destruction Day". Its never stated who would be a "leader" in such events so its safe to say there is no blame, just pure evil between them. Jason suffered from alexithymia a disorder in which cause one to have difficulty recognizing, expressing and describing emotions. While William had slight schizophrenia due to his fathers death.
WAS THIS PREVENTABLE?
Some will argue that under the right care and friends between the both of them this tragedy wouldnt have happened. This goes to show the impact bullies truly have on others. However the case, two wrongs dont make a right especially if you end up taking others lives over something small. William and Jason deserve exactly whats coming to them while in prison, thankfully people like them don't get to walk free ever again after something so horrible.rest in peace to everyone whos lives were taken and we are so sorry for the familes of the victims.
